Years ago, I nearly had to drop out of grad school because of my chronic pain. Tanner’s back pain had him pivot careers after being in a back brace for six months.
We’ve been coaching pain resolution for six months (as of May ‘25), and wanted to share some results.
Andrew
Andrew had wrist and shoulder pain for over ten years, had given up after seeing doctors and physiotherapists. In our first session, I guided him through a gentle awareness exercise. In ten minutes, his shoulder pain completely disappeared.
A year later, I checked in with him.
Andrew: “I remember it vividly, it was kind of like falling asleep when you don’t know exactly the moment the consciousness slipped away… that nagging background pain was gone…”

Sam
Sam struggled with long-COVID: “lungs feel wheezy and congested at all times... I get post exertion fatigue: after exercising vigorously I am knocked out for a few days…”
Despite my initial uncertainty, Sam was willing to try our approach1.
I checked in with him three months after the cohort
Cam
“What I’m able to do now versus when I started is night and day…”
Other things we’ve helped with:
Sciatica, pelvic pain, back tension, neck pain
Who this is for
You’ve had pain for >4 months that is one (or more) of:
Not linked to recent injury
Varies in intensity with stress in your life
Doctors/physiotherapists have been unable to help
Note: we are not physiotherapists or doctors. Instead, we believe that most chronic pain is from a miscalibrated nervous system, and that ‘recalibrating your nervous system’ is a skill most people can quickly learn. We quickly coach people how to do this.
Tanner and I have a couple of open slots right now. If you’ve “tried everything else” and still have pain, let’s talk.

I knew that there had been a successful pilot study at Harvard Medical School suggesting similar approaches to ours could relieve long COVID but had not personally helped anyone yet
